Auxiliary Contact
Auxiliary contacts are electrical switches that operate in conjunction with the main contactor or starter in an electrical system. They do not directly control the main power circuit but are used for various auxiliary functions such as signaling, interlocking, and control tasks. These contacts change state (open or close) when the main contactor or starter is activated, allowing them to control other circuits without bearing the full load.
