Disconnect Switches
Disconnects, also known as isolation switches, are used to isolate electrical equipment from the electrical supply. They are typically used to disconnect electrical power to equipment that is being serviced, repaired, or maintained. Disconnects can also be used to isolate electrical equipment during an electrical hazard, such as a short-circuit.
